Overlook Drive is a small game I created during a game jam. I focused on using camera-effects, audio, and whatever free assets I could get my hands on to create a creepy atmosphere. The antagonist came out a bit silly due to time, however, I'm pretty proud of what I accomplished by myself.
For some background, I used the Dialoguer plugin to handle the backend and whipped up a custom UI for it in C#. I also took the opportunity to try Unity's ragdoll system combined with some physics joints to make the decidedly goofy antagonist. I wanted to make the antagonist disappear when the lights came on, but I couldn't just turn off the game object. Turns out that physics joints really hate that.
