Project Yaga is a fun, unfinished prototype I spun off from my senior capstone, Cosmic Jam Battle. You are a living potion, created by a young witch a la Kiki's Delivery Service and you're tasked with helping around the shop.
I designed and created the character including the physics-based movement and pick-up mechanic. I also created my own smooth camera code which really helps add some production value to the game.
For some background on the pick-up mechanic, when the player runs over something smaller than it the volume of that object is calculated using the mesh's bounds and that volume is added to the sphere. This is directly adapted from the code I wrote during my Senior Capstone.
